New Home Construction Design Tip Show Stoppers

Old King Salomon was a pretty smart guy. He understood that greatness lay in the small details. But, one thing you must learn is that those small details don’t have to cost you big money. You just have to be creative and think out of the box.
This week’s tip is about Show Stoppers and how every room need’s one. So let get started.
Sometimes, all it takes to look like a million bucks is one killer accessory. (That Rolex watch makes that $12 t-shirt looks good) The key is to be selective, choose your
Signature item, and keep everything else simple.
A Show Stopper can take on many different forms. Here a just a few ideas
- A Custom Wood Hood over you 48” stove
- A Claws Foot Tub in your master bathroom
- Stone Pebbles on the floor of your shower
- A Reclaimed antique wood beams
- A Stone Farmer Sink in you kitchen
- Real Stone on your fireplace
- Stone Pattern back splash
- A Big Screen TV behind a see through mirror
- An Outdoor fireplace off your nook
The options are endless. The important thing to learn is that one show stopper in a room, will allow you to get away with keeping the rest of the room basic, thereby saving money. Never have two show stoppers in the same room, they will fight for attention.
Remember, greatness in is the details. Good luck with your new home and I hope this helps you. If you have any other question or comments, feel free to leave them here or email me at rick@livewellcustomhomes.com
